Current Series - June 1 - July 13
Twelve Ordinary Men
Our current series in Sunday School started on June 1 and runs through July 13. It is based on the book, “Twelve Ordinary Men” by John MacArthur. The main thrust of this book is the transforming power of Christ to take ordinary men with plenty of failings and develop them into world changing servants of the living God.
In this 6 week series, we will focus on the four disciples closest to Jesus: Peter, Andrew, James, and John.
Contrary to popular belief, we do not have to be perfect to do God's work. Look no further than the twelve disciples whose many weaknesses are forever preserved throughout the pages of the New Testament. Jesus chose ordinary men - fisherman, tax collectors, political zealots - and turned their weakness into strength, producing greatness from utter uselessness. MacArthur draws principles from Christ's careful, hands-on training of the original twelve disciples for today's modern disciple - you.
New Members classes are designed to aquaint
people joining the church with our vision,
stewardship, church government, and how to get involved.
Foundations of Grace
are a series of classes designed to establish any believer
at any stage of growth in the foundational teachings of the
Bible.
Our Sunday school program
meets between Sunday services from 10:05-11:00AM. There are
18 different classes to choose from. The emphasis is on fellowship
around the word of God.
A typical class will start with a time of snacks and casual
fellowship followed by praise reports and prayer requests,
ending with a very practical time of teaching with discussion.
We suggest you visit several classes before making a choice
to determine which class best meets your needs. The comment
we receive most often about Sunday school is, it makes a large
church small and personable. We sincerely believe you will
be blessed as you check it out for yourself.
